Over the past few days, I've felt a huge tug from the Lord to just PAUSE. To BREATHE. To REFLECT. To consider what He's doing in my life. To observe where He is and where He isn't. And to simply enjoy intimacy with Him. I don't know about you, but in this season of my life, I often feel exhausted from my day-to-day responsibilities. The past few days have been a reminder that REST is a gift that is available to us in Jesus Christ, we simply have to come to Him.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28 NIV
One of my favorite ways to rest in the Lord is through journaling. I always find that spilling my heart and mind on paper helps to create space for the Lord to refill them. Inevitably, it's been difficult to maintain in this season, but I'm reclaiming this joy of mine! So with that, I want to share some journaling prompts I'm exploring so that you too can explore the beauty of journaling in your life.
